Intesa Sanpaolo announces a partnership for the Slovenian market to combine good customer knowledge and developed consulting activity within its wide-ranging distribution network with Generali's extensive experience in developing and offering insurance products. The aim of the partnership is to strengthen the bancassurance businessand to expand the range of newly designed products and services for individuals, families and small businesses.

The Slovenian market is considered to be one of the most attractive insurance markets in Central and Eastern Europe in terms of growth, especially in the field of life insurance. The penetration of insurance products in Slovenia accounts for 5% of the GDP.

The partnership contributes to the natural development of the role of a bank consultant who will become a point of reference in the branch in relation to the comprehensive management of all risks related to family assets (health, work, cars, homes, pets) and business operations.
A new umbrella brand “BE PROTECTED” has been created to help reinforce the bancassurance business. Its graphic design with carefully selected typography intuitively and directly strengthens the message of the protection concept and the value that these products bring to the bank's customers.
